LYING CONCERT

Music Medicine was created from a desire to make the world a little more beautiful with my music. To create a place where music sounds and where there is time and attention to connect with each other and with yourself. A kind of new age place around the campfire.

Come lie down on a mat and immerse yourself in the healing sounds of music. It can be food for your heart and soul and also inspire you with a touch of spirituality. I play partly myself and a part in which my music plays and I meet you through touch.

The peaceful sounds of my music are often experienced as comforting and healing. The pieces of music are narrative and can bring you into contact with deeper layers of yourself.

MUSIC MEDICINE SESSION

Are you looking for healing for issues that you find difficult to get in touch with? Or are you looking for a form of relaxation in a world that wants to go faster and expects more from us?

Music can be healing in layers where we as humans cannot go. The frequency of music can set these layers in motion. For example, there are indications that Stone-Henge in England was used as a music healing circle. This is due to the shape and the type of stones. People came from far and wide for healing. Music also plays an important role for many people in our present time.

Music can be comforting, move you to tears and bring you back to your feelings. In combination with music, I also work body-oriented and intuitive, and use other creative work forms. Think of ancestor work, constellations, soul collages or intuitive insight cards.

Composing

As a girl of 9 I went to piano lessons for the first time. My piano teacher was a sweet and intuitive person who drove an old DAF, smoked cigarettes and taught me the love of music.

I liked classical music, but soon I chose the pieces that were more romantic. I also changed piano pieces by other composers to how I liked them. Later in my teens I made short piano pieces, but when I flew out I no longer had a piano and therefore played much less.

About 10 years ago I took up composing seriously during a period when my life was turned upside down. It has been a healing process and I can now share my music with the world.

TWO EYES SO BLUE

Recently I worked on a film by Barbara de Baare, who made a portrait of her 100-year-old grandfather. It is a beautiful and moving film that appeals to the imagination. Barbara asked me to make the music for the film and we recorded it together while I was watching the film. It was the first time that my music was played on the big screen. It was beautiful how it was completely silent in the room when my music sounded in the credits. What a cool moment. It awakened something in me. A desire to make even more music in projects that are valuable. A desire to let my music sound in the world.
